We celebrated our Year 11 Leaver's Prom last Thursday, 2nd of July. I absolutely enjoyed the event and not to mention the company of my new close friends, Jodie and Olivia.
The food was also overwhelming. I had prawn salad as my starter, lamb and potatoes for the main course and our dessert, cheesecakes with strawberries on top.

To be honest, I wasn't actually looking forward to the event earlier that week. I was more like scared rather than excited because of my outfit and how the people would response regarding it. Although I was wearing a dress, I wasn't exactly wearing high heeled shoes. It was a converse-type lace up shoes I bought for the event. I always dreamed of doing it, and I already have. Thank goodness, my fellow students and my teachers liked what I did.
I received a variety of compliments that night. Some said they were jealous because I was more comfortable with dancing and walking. Others were saying, it was a genious idea. One teacher said I looked like a rock chic. Bla Bla Bla.
And yet, at the end of the night, I was glad I did wear those shoes!

summer 09
It was 27 degrees celsius today and believe me, i can really feel the warmth. A couple of my friends were complaining and appreciating it at the same time. Two of them suffered sunburns the other day and are afraid it won't go before our prom on thursday. However, they would still want the weather to be the same all through out the week compared to rainy wet days.
I was planning not to go out today because of the sun but I still ended up walking under the sun to pick some stuff out of my nan's. I was sweating when I got home -- reminded me of how life was in the Philippines. Oh, by the way, we've also got this small electric fan to keep us cool but my dad's the one using it so it's no use for me. rofl.

BATUGAN (filipino word for LAZY)
my classes ended two weeks ago and i have been stuck up at home doing NOTHING. i wake up in the morning at random times, earliest would probably be around half past 8 and latest would be around 12 pm. haha
anywhoo, i got left alone last wednesday with no company at all -- p.s my dad's usually with me -- because he ( my dad ) had to deliver the caravan he sold on ebay and pick up the boat he bought from guess what? -EBAY of course!
anyway, i had an early morning that specific day (about 9-ish) 'cause my mom had to give me reminders. bla. bla. bla. so i got up, turned the computer on, went online and checked my friendster account, yadaa yadaa yadaa- the usual really.
then around 11, i went downstairs to grab some food. i had lasagna plus garlic bread for my main course and an orange plus potato chips for dessert with matching water for the beverage. nice combination, isn't it?
so i went back upstairs with my food and ate whilst i was on the computer on my bed. teehee! it was my own BRUNCH (breakfast & lunch) in bed. teehee!
i finished my food in no time. but then, i got bored with friendster so i started to watch naruto (anime) online. oh yeah, that's what i do when i'm bored. LOL
then suddenly, my mom rang and asked me do defrost meat which she will be using that night for our supper. so i got up with my plate and rubbish then went back to the kitchen. first, i threw away my potato chips wrap and the orange peel then i loaded up the dishwasher with the stuff i used. i got a banana and an apple 'cause i felt like eating again. however, i seem to have forgotten the real reason i was in the kitchen. i DIDN'T defrost the meat. instead, i went back upstairs and continued to watch my anime.
my sister arrived from school about half past three that afternoon and she had a portion of chips (fried potatoes) with her and she asked me if i wanted some, i didn't really want any 'cause i knew i had a lot of food down my stomach so i decided to sleep.
after a while, my mom arrived (5-ish pm) and i was still half asleep and the first thing she asked me was if i have defrosted the meat. i looked at her with shock and i was like: SHOOT! i completely forgot. bloody heck! but honestly i was out of words so i didn't answer my mom at all.
then she was like, "sabi ko na nga ba e! BATUGAN ka talaga!" bla. bla. bla.
i mean, duh? i didn't mean to NOT do what she wanted me to do. it was just that, i completely forgot all about it when i saw the BANANA. haha.
and just so you know, she was moaning and calling me 'BATUGAN' for like the whole hour after she got home.
another thing, i was in my jammas the whole day! LOL

Scissors
This is a poem I wrote last November 11 2008 during one of my English classes. I wanted to post it a long time ago but I seem to always forget about it. Anyway, Here it is:
I have cut paper before.
I am sure that you have as well.
Pictures. Magazines. All those sort.
It has no difference at all.
The best that I have ever cut
was this. This right infront of you.
It is a bit messy though, but
not as messy as of last month's.
I really did not know what I
was doing. Pain. Stains of blood on
a rusted blade. I only used
the other half of the grey pair.
Since then, I have learned the technique.
I have gone out of space. Hey, can
I borrow your wrist for a change?
-Scissors by Moira Pauline Parton
Credit from my teacher:
This is incredibly powerful Moira..
The short sentences are excellent for creating tension..
in that you reveal the information very slowly and cleverly while talking about something that is seemingly innocent..
The question at the end is very chilling as well.
Excellent work- you should submit your poetry to competitions!

backstreet boys
oh my god! guess what? this evening, my sister asked me if she could play some music and ofcourse, I had to say YES since we share a room and we do favours for each other.
anyway, she started off with 'beautiful' by akon and so on.. everything was good until old songs of backstreet boys were suddenly playing.. my sister was actually listening to songs like 'shape of my heart','show me the meaning of being inlove', etc.
I couldn't do anything about it because I also play music that she does not like. The funny thing is, I found myself singing along to one of the songs after a while, without actually noticing myself doing it. haha =]]

PATHOLOGY (film) REVIEW and COMMENTS
To start of, Pathology is a thriller film about a set of medical students playing a game. The winner? The one who commits the perfect murder. Bla. Bla. Bla. Just watch it. A'right?
(and just so you know, Milo Ventimiglia - 'Peter Petrelli' from 'Heroes' is in this film)
My Opinion:
It's SICK. I mean really.. it is a very SICK film. I'm not saying it's bad film or anything. I'm just stating what I think about it. Okay?
So, first of all, why do I think its sick? Well, basically Milo is supposed to be a hero. Isn't he? But anyway, that's not he's a character in the film. Haha.
Back to the topic..The reason why I think its sick is because it's all twisted and efd up!
Right, just to elaborate. .. Dr. Grey (Milo) is like a super duper ultra SMART pathologist. got it? and what does he do with his intelligence? Kill people. He's reason --->> ''he's an animal in the first place and it's animal nature to kill.''
Well for me, that's just a very very LAME excuse. what huh? you ain't got nothin' to do with your so perfect life that you're so bored and you end up messin' up other people's lives? And then what, you cheat on your so perfect girlfriend and just play games with people?? That is so sick.
It's not actually the gross bits and blobs of the film or the disturbing scenes on it that annoys and irritates me, it's the stupid fact that HE IS UTTERLY SMART but HE'S THE STUPIDEST PERSON EVER!
